With factory-ordered vehicles still experiencing some delays due to various challenges such as semiconductor shortages and the conflict in Ukraine, it may be worthwhile to consider the option of ordering stock vehicles or vehicles which are arriving soon.

Here are just a few of the questions we’re often asked about these cars:

What is a stock / arriving soon vehicle?

The main difference is that the car that has already been pre-ordered and is not made to your bespoke specifications, which a new factory order will be. The stock vehicles are often in the UK ready for delivery, but could also be in production at the factory or en-route to the UK from the manufacturer – which is why some will have delivery dates a little further in advance on our website. They’re available much quicker than waiting for a factory build slot though, which is why we refer to them as “coming soon”.

What are the advantages of a car which is in stock or arriving soon?

Mainly, time or a manufacturer special offer. As these cars have already been pre-ordered and often built, they can be supplied more quickly. If it isn’t already in the UK, it is likely to be on its way. Some manufacturers are still experiencing production delays and so lead-times for bespoke orders can be around 6-9 months, so if you need a car quickly, this is a good option for you.

New cars are added to our site every few days and so it’s worth checking regularly to see if there’s something which meets your requirements.

Are there any disadvantages to cars which are in stock or arriving soon?

The main disadvantage is that it is not a bespoke vehicle. It has been ordered to a popular specification and we have a great range of colours and interiors but you won’t be able to make changes to the specification (though you may still be able to find a stock vehicle that meets your requirements among the range of options available from various manufacturers).

Should you want to order a vehicle which is coming soon or in stock, you will have a limited number to choose from, which are live on our site and so could be ordered at any time – so you’ll need to make a decision and complete the documentation quickly if you find one you’d like to order.

Where can I find a list of the stock/arriving soon vehicles you currently offer?

Once you have logged in, if you click on “arriving soon” on the homepage, the cars are all listed with their anticipated delivery times as to whether they’re in stock or due for delivery in the near future.

What is the average delivery time for the cars featured on the arriving soon page?

If we have a stock vehicle in the UK, we can often deliver within as little as  4-6 weeks, as long as we have the necessary approvals from your employer, and that the admin has been completed. Other vehicles will state their anticipated delivery date, which is the information the manufacturer has supplied to us. If we are advised of any changes to this, we will update you straight away.

How do I order an arriving soon / stock car?

Once you have logged into the website, go to the arriving soon page on the website and click ‘get a quote’ on the vehicle you’d like to choose. You’ll then see what the associated costs are per month and be able to order through the website. You can then sign your paperwork and your employer will then be able to approve this for you. Once we have all of those details, a delivery date will be supplied.
