Could you get an electric chargepoint installed at your home?
We’d advise that you install a home charging point to charge your car rather than relying on a 3-pin plug, as these are designed to power up your electric car battery more safely and quickly. Typically, a full charge would take approximately 8 hours and your electricity provider may even offer an cheaper rate for charging overnight.
Getting a home charger installed is the most convenient way to charge your car and fortunately it’s not as complicated as you might think. If you have a garage or driveway it’s likely you’d be eligible for an installation. Once you find a suitable installer, they will complete a suitability assessment to check if a standard installation is possible.
