As you near the end of your agreement, Tusker will be in touch when there is 6- 9 months left to go on the contract, so you will have a lot of time to work out what you want to do.
As ever, we aim to be flexible, so when we get in touch, we will talk you through your three main options and work out which one is best for you.
Before we take your car away, one of our trained inspectors will look over your car.
All inspections take place between 8am and 6pm and we recommend that you are present, as this can help ensure that you agree with the report.
Before the inspection takes place, you’ll need to make sure that:
We inspect your car in line with the British Vehicle Leasing and Renting Association (BVLRA) fair wear and tear guidelines*
This means that ‘fair’ wear and tear that are acceptable as part of daily usage may not count as damage on your car. The kinds of fair wear and tear that are acceptable include:

It sounds obvious, but we ask our drivers to ensure their car is returned in a roadworthy state. Basically, this means that it is safe and ready to drive, so it will need:
Our salary sacrifice schemes include replacement tyres, as well as servicing and maintenance and so there shouldn’t be any costs to you to get these issues sorted before handing the car back to us.
Tusker makes returning your car at the end of your contract quick, easy and straightforward, but for further information on our end-of-contract process or to get answers to any queries, please contact our Customer Service team on 0333 400 2020 or take a look at our FAQs for more information.
More FAQs*The British Vehicle Leasing and Rental Association, otherwise known as the BVRLA, is the trade body for companies who rent and lease cars. We have voluntarily signed up to their code of conduct which means Tusker and all our drivers need to comply with the BVLRA’s regulations and guidelines. What does this mean for you? If you don’t agree with our inspection or approach, the BVLRA will investigate any code of conduct breach.
